Jessica | Magnolia Plantation & Gardens Bridal Portraits

Bridal dreams came true early this May as we ventured out to Charleston’s lovely Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. With so much rich history and thousands of lush flowers, this location was nothing short of a photographer’s paradise for me. The lavish, drooping moss and dense greenery creates perfect shade against the bright, hot Southern heat. You can see butterflies, hear birds chirping along with peacocks, and the floral smells of magnolia hang strong in the air. I already want to go back!

Jessica was a dream to work with. She and her mom took the drive to Charleston, and some fun happened in our hotel room concerning the immaculate, designer dress’s invisible zipper. We’ll just say that it took our full ‘bridal team’ + some 20 minutes of handy work, and maybe some butter from the hotel lobby to zip up! But, what’s a destination bridal session without some funny memories. Jessica looked exquisite in her Milla Nova gown. She picked this dress online a long time ago in good faith, knowing it was the one for her….and was it! My favorite part about this gown was the attachable layered, ruffled trail that made it look so royal. Check out this low country bridal heaven
